“Looking West” is a photographic series that explores performative masculinity in Australian Rodeo subculture and the iconography of the Cowboy.
Images from the work have been featured by The Heavy Collective, Melbourne Milieu, The Centre for Contemporary Photography and Nexus Magazine. The ‘Mansfield’ portrait was nominated for the 2018 Iris Award.
The work is currently on display in a solo show at the Perth Centre for Photography.
The photobook publication of “Looking West” was launched on the opening night of the show, limited to a 1st edition run of 40 copies.
